Yes to...

Posted by snowbunnytales at 1:04 AM
I've been loving the brand Yes to Carrots, Cucumbers, and Tomatoes lately. I've seen them in Target stores before, but only decided to get them over a month ago and they did not disappoint me! Well I only have one complaint...
which is the scent of these deep cleansing pads($7.99), but other than that I'm loving this product! This past year, my skin has been really misbehaving. So I thought I'd give this a try. It's been keeping my skin in balance this past month. less breakouts!
I also picked up the Cucumber Facial Towelettes($5.99). This is just an okay product to me, because it doesn't take off my foundation or mascara. So I would use my eye makeup remover for my eyes and a milk/cream cleanser for my face, then I'll wipe away the cleanser with these towelettes instead of cotton pads. I'll also wait for about half an hour before I'll jump in the shower, because I feel like the ingredients in the towelettes will do something good for my skin, so I give it some time before washing it away. I also use these to refresh my face when I have no makeup on. I love the tingling after effect!
This Daily Moisture Body Lotion($7.99/8.45fl.oz.) has already become my favourite body lotion for everyday! The Yes to Carrot line has a clean scent, it almost reminds me of baby-wipes? I don't know...but I still like this because I could wear a scented lotion or a perfume over it and the scents won't compete. It adsorbs quickly and is not greasy.
I've been using the shampoo and conditioner($8.99/16.90fl.oz.) for the past month and I also love these! You get a good amount for each bottle. It has a clean scent and my hair is softer.

I picked up the Hair and Scalp Moisturizing Mud Mask($12/8.45fl.oz.) about a week ago. I've only used it once, so we'll see how I feel about this one later. So far it's good, but I don't like the scent, which smells almost medicinal.

I've started using this line because I wanted to switch to something that is more natural. This brand is also cruelty free. They also donate a portion of profits towards Yes to Seed Funds, which is as stated on their website "a U.S. 501(c)3 non-profit organization, is on a mission to make a difference in people's lives by providing under-served communities with the resources to develop and sustain an organic food source and access to healthy nutrition."

UPDATE!

tomato cleansing pads-this worked great until half way through my second tub. it started to break me out! I guess my skin didn't like it anymore~

cucumber towelettes-still like it~!

carrot body lotion-still loving it and starting on my third bottle!

shampoo&conditioner-I did like this alot, but coming very close to finishing this bottle...I feel like there are other products out there that would do better for my hair

hair mud mask-still hate the scent! I felt like it didn't do anything for my hair in the beginning...but the more I used it, the more I like. But I'll probably move on to another product when I'm done :)

Oh gosh, I actually had the worst experience with their shampoo/conditioner! It did nothing for my hair and for some reason made my scalp get oily really fast. Glad it worked for you though!
