My Favourite Sunscreen~

Posted by snowbunnytales at 9:07 AM 0 comments

I've gone through 2 tubes of this and now starting on my 3rd. I've been using the older formula, which had SPF 31 PA+. I read somewhere before that SPF 30 is all you really need for your face, but the higher the better. I'm glad this newer formula is now SPF 43 PA+++. I read that some people are turned off by the water formulation, but thats What I love about this product. It's light, spreads easily, and absorbs quickly. PLUS my face does not get oily like when I use other sunscreens. It just feels like I'm putting on another layer of a light moisturizer. I LOVE this! btw I do have combo skin, which can get very oily if I use the wrong products for my face.

I've taken some screenshots on the product from the website for more info.

June/July Haul~

Posted by snowbunnytales at 9:55 PM 0 comments
Here are a few products I bought during the month of June and half of July. Some I've used and some I haven't touched yet.

I can say that the Skin Food Grapefruit Nail Polish Remover is awesome. It smells really nice and still does it's job. My dad doesn't complain when we use this in his presence~

Mac Studio Fix and Skin Food Choco Eyebrow Powder Cake are repurchases. The eyebrow powder smells like choco :)

Essential Ultra Honey and Shea Buter Hair Mask is great~although it's sometimes hard to wash off. It's very thick, but it has helped my hair. I've finished that and purchased Tsubaki Hair Mask which is twice the price of Essential, but I actually like this one more~ The texture is not as thick, but it's still moisturizes my hair and it feels even better when I rinse it out. I use these more as a daily mini mask/conditioner. I currently don't own a conditioner~

I love the Liese Designing Jelly. It's the pink bottle next to Essential. It's a liquidy gel like consistency. I just like to scrunch it into my hair to give it more volume and texture.

Just let me know if you want me to do a review on anything :)

June Favourites

Ecotools Bamboo Bronzer Brush($12ish?) - This brush is sooo soft! I love that it has a big fat handle too! I used to use this with my Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder. I liked using it with a loose powder, but lately I've been using it with a bronzer :)

Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Soft Matte Bronzer - I took this from my mom when I came home. She doesn't use it~ so I had to take it for the bronzer's sake hahaa ;) I'm not so fond of the packaging. The star is cute, but I don't like the twist off top, plus the product surface area is a bit small, esp when I use my Ecotools bronzer brush.

I like this bronzer tho~ it is matte, but has a bit of a glowy finish. When you look at the product, it looks like it has some shimmers on it, but it doesn't show up on the skin. I think I like matte bronzers more than the shimmery ones~

So I'm starting to like bronzers alot! Any recommendations for another good bronzer?

Benefit Stay Don't Stray - Got this in that mini benefit kit a while back. I just started using it in June tho. I have to say...I like this more than the Urban Decay one. The texture is very light and liquidy and it has a little bit of color that brightens my lids a bit. This little tiny bottle has lasted me for a while too~ I think I would buy this over UD, but I'm going to get Paul&Joe first :)

Mac Studio Fix - I have a love and hate relationship with this product. I've used it on and off for years since high school. It's one of the cheaper higher end products and it also does it's job at covering up discolorations, so I end up coming back to it for these reasons too. For me, I have to use this with a brush or it might end up looking cakey.

I've been using only this powder foundation with my RMK primer underneath since June. It's been working so well. I'm in a hot and Humid climate weather right now and I didn't want to use any liquid foundations. Loving this right now! and the primer makes it last!!! Just got my backup today, since I'm almost out~

Resicare - This is a baby powder brand here in Thailand. It's made from rice starch and is 100% talc-free, bio-degradable, extra mild and hypoallergenic :)  It's so hot here and my underarms have been suffering from my sweat and heat (eew) it stings and itches and this has saved me! I've been using this after every shower. Surprisingly it's been working as a deodorant too (somedays hahaa) I think I might have to take some back to the States with me~

and I love those fake flowers behind the products hahaa~
