Fresh-Citron de Vigne

Posted by snowbunnytales at 10:55 PM 0 comments
I love the scent of Fresh's Citron de Vigne($18.50/.34oz.)!! I'm really bad at describing scents...all I can say that it smells fresh, sweet, a little bit of citrus, a little bit floral. This would be the perfect scent for spring~but I don't care! I'll wear it right now :)

I also Love their packaging. It's much nicer than coming in a regular paper box. The colors and patterns are really nice. The typeface is also elegant. It's something that I would like to keep and display.

Fresh's description of the fragrance:
The sun-drenched days, earthy vines, and sparkling wines of France’s Champagne region were the inspiration for the notes in this effervescent celebration scent. An innovative heart note of a pinot noir accord—comprised of bergamot, dark almond, musk, white sandalwood, and rose—is combined with bubbling citrus top notes and an earthy base, resulting in a crisp and sensual blend ideal for both men and women.

Yes to...

I've been loving the brand Yes to Carrots, Cucumbers, and Tomatoes lately. I've seen them in Target stores before, but only decided to get them over a month ago and they did not disappoint me! Well I only have one complaint...
which is the scent of these deep cleansing pads($7.99), but other than that I'm loving this product! This past year, my skin has been really misbehaving. So I thought I'd give this a try. It's been keeping my skin in balance this past month. less breakouts!
I also picked up the Cucumber Facial Towelettes($5.99). This is just an okay product to me, because it doesn't take off my foundation or mascara. So I would use my eye makeup remover for my eyes and a milk/cream cleanser for my face, then I'll wipe away the cleanser with these towelettes instead of cotton pads. I'll also wait for about half an hour before I'll jump in the shower, because I feel like the ingredients in the towelettes will do something good for my skin, so I give it some time before washing it away. I also use these to refresh my face when I have no makeup on. I love the tingling after effect!
This Daily Moisture Body Lotion($7.99/8.45fl.oz.) has already become my favourite body lotion for everyday! The Yes to Carrot line has a clean scent, it almost reminds me of baby-wipes? I don't know...but I still like this because I could wear a scented lotion or a perfume over it and the scents won't compete. It adsorbs quickly and is not greasy.
I've been using the shampoo and conditioner($8.99/16.90fl.oz.) for the past month and I also love these! You get a good amount for each bottle. It has a clean scent and my hair is softer.

I picked up the Hair and Scalp Moisturizing Mud Mask($12/8.45fl.oz.) about a week ago. I've only used it once, so we'll see how I feel about this one later. So far it's good, but I don't like the scent, which smells almost medicinal.

I've started using this line because I wanted to switch to something that is more natural. This brand is also cruelty free. They also donate a portion of profits towards Yes to Seed Funds, which is as stated on their website "a U.S. 501(c)3 non-profit organization, is on a mission to make a difference in people's lives by providing under-served communities with the resources to develop and sustain an organic food source and access to healthy nutrition."

UPDATE!

tomato cleansing pads-this worked great until half way through my second tub. it started to break me out! I guess my skin didn't like it anymore~

cucumber towelettes-still like it~!

carrot body lotion-still loving it and starting on my third bottle!

shampoo&conditioner-I did like this alot, but coming very close to finishing this bottle...I feel like there are other products out there that would do better for my hair

hair mud mask-still hate the scent! I felt like it didn't do anything for my hair in the beginning...but the more I used it, the more I like. But I'll probably move on to another product when I'm done :)

Merry Christmas~!

Posted by snowbunnytales at 4:07 PM 0 comments
It's Christmas time again~! I love love Christmas time and christmas scents. It brings me back to those special childhood memories~ I've been having an obsession over candles for awhile now, but I've never came across a candle that I can smell and just say "IT'S CHRISTMAS!!!" Until this...

I'm soo happy that I've decided to try out the slatkin & co candles this year! To me...it smells like christmas trees and berries, a little bit woodsy and...snow? I don't know. That's my take on it, but I love this candle for christmas. I would say the scent throw is pretty good. I have it lit in my bedroom and the scent fills up the room. When I leave my door open, the scent flows through the hallway into the kitchen and living room. I bought the three wicked ones and this one burns very clean. So...TWO THUMBS UP for this!!

Bath and Body describes the scent as:
A sparkling combination of cranberry champagne, blood orange and red berry mixed with the essence of evergreen moss, white cedar and toasted clove.(burns 40 to 65 hours)
